i saw this on AnomolyNY's twitter today and just had to pass it along. nevermind the fact that i'm a little biased because the netherlands, specifically amsterdam, is my favorite place. this is an absolutely beautiful way of tracking the sms messages sent in the city on new years and queen's day. above are some screenshots of Aaron Koblin's project and a video. check it out.
