I found this on one of my favorite design blogs, NOTCOT and I just had to re-post. How often have you wished that something like this existed? They're called Swim City Slippers and they're absolutely genius. This italian made life saver turns your cute little pumps waterproof! They're so small that when you get to your destination you can just take them off and store them in your bag. Gone are the days of picking your shoes based on the weather conditions. Let me tell you, with the torrential downpours in NYC these days I'm definitely going to pick up a pair. I'd personally opt for black version, the purple is a little too much for my taste. But you can get whatever color your little heart desires if you head to the Swims website.

PS. The best detail has got to be the subway maps on the soles of different famous cities.
